For a model of which only 3,000 were ever produced, an astonishing amount of print has been lavished on the Cord 810 and 812. At least four books have been published on this subject exclusively. Nearly every book on "Classic Cars" has a section on the Cord. Every history of the automobile includes a comment on the Cord's impact on automotive history. Magazine articles have covered Cords, original and modified, beginning shortly after WWII when their classic status began to be recognized.
